PARNELL POLICE STATION..
Mr., P. Lawry (Parnell) has been informed that Cabinet has decided to erect a police station in the borough of Parnell, and as soon as the plans are prepared tenders will be called for the work of construction.'
HINEMOA FOR. SALE. J K Tenders are being called by tie Govern, ment for the sale of the steamer Hineiooa. Some little time ago an offer to purchase the vessel was made by parties in Auckland, but the Government would not negc-. tiate except by public tender. In the event of a satisfactory price being offered for the Hinemoa the Government will sell her, as she is too small in some respects for'he! work, and they will purchase another more up-to-date vessel.
