London, August 19. David Cunningham, a member of the territorial forces, was to-day sentenced to a month's imprisonment for disobeying a sergeant-major's drill order, and Drummer Kneath, of the Swansea Territorials, received a sentence of 14 days' imprisonment for impertinence to a captain
Some newspapers, advocating compulsory service, suggest that the recent manoeuvres prove the failure of the territorials, their knowledge, physique, and discipline being insufficient.
