A. bowling match was played on the local green yesterday afternoon between a number of Auckland and Waihi players. The visitors, who arrived in Waihi on Saturday morning, numbered 28, and seven rinks were set aside'for the game. After Mr. J. H. Evans had extended a welcome to the Aucklanders and Mr. M. Casey had responded, a start was made. A keen contest resulted in a win for the visitors by four points, the totals be-, ing 138 against 134.
