There is nothing new to report to-night with regard to the search for Powelka, the escaped prisoner. ; The last authentic report of Powelka having been seen is that of an appearance at Bunnythorpe during the small hours of yesterday morning, when a constable fired two shots after him. Later on in the same day he was supposed to have been seen still further north, near Makino, which is two miles from Feilding. Since then nothing has been heard of him, although there have been the usual number of unverified reports of appearances. ;'<
