A GAOL BURNT DOWN.
SIX FIREMEN PERISH. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received April 14, 11.30 p.m.) ~" New York, April 14. A fire destroyed the Connecticut County Gaol, six firemen perishing in the flames and five being injured. The prisoners were removed to a place of safety as soon as the outbreak was noticed.
