BOARDING -MOVING TRAMS.

Chargks of mounting tramcars while in motion were brought against several men and youths at the Police Court yesterday, before Mr, E. C. Cutten, S.M. StationSergeant Treanor, who appeared for the prosecution, said the practice of boarding moving cars, between five and .six o'clock in the evening, was becoming a source of danger, as crowds of men rushed for the cars, hanging on where they could get a hold, with no consideration whatever for anybody else. There was grave danger of someone being pushed in front of a moving car. All the accused pleaded guilty, and were each fined ss, and costs 10s 6d.
