Melbourxe, February 21. A cable has been despatched to the Pre-' mier of Natal, instructing the' steamer Wakefield to leave out Amsterdam, St. Paul's, Marion and Prince Edward Islands, and proceed to the Crozets, Kerguelon, Mac Donald and Heard Islands, and afterwards .to continue the search for the Waratah in accordance with previous instructions
The steamer Hymettus, which sailed for India last week, was specially instructed to keep a look-out for the Waratah. . . " ;
