[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS . ASSOCIATION. Palmerstojt North, Monday. At the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court to-day, W. V. B. Pearco was found not guilty,of the theft of cattle. The jury were three and a-quarlcr hours coming to a decision.
CYCLISTS IN COURT.

' Waihi, Monday./ At the Police Court this morning (Messrs. H. W. Moore and C. B. King, J.P.'s, presiding) no less than 13 persons were each fined -ss, and costs 7s, for breaches of the borough by-laws in riding their bicycles on the footpaths, and four were similarly penalised for riding bicycles without lights after sunset.
