SUSPECTED MAN ARRESTED.

By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Copyright, Paris, February 9. Antoine Favier has been arrested at Nancy on a charge of murdering M. Thain, cashier of the Lille branch of the Bank of , France.

M. Thain, cashier at the Lille branch of the Bank of France, called some time ago at a fashionable private house to receive 4000 francs for deposit in the bank, and was robbed and murdered, his body being found in a garret. It was discovered that Antoine Favier, the owner of the house, had absconded with a large sum of money.
