PRIMITIVE METHODISTS.
SYNOD EESOLUTIONS. [BY TELEGRAPH.rRESS ASSOCIATION.] DtrNEDiN, Tuesday. The Primitive Methodist Synod of Otago has just been concluded at Waikouaiti. The reports showed gratifying increase of Church members but a slight decrease of Sunday-school scholars. Motions advocating Dominion option and the ' bare majority were carried unanimously, also a protest against members of the Government attending the opening of Tattersall's Club. It was decided that ministers be stationed as follows : —Dunedin, Revs. J. Knowles Smith, J. B. Suckling, G. Drake, and E. Bandy; Invercargill, Revs. W. Laycock and T. A. Pybus; Bluff, Rev. G. P. Hunt. The Rev. Bailey goes to Wanganui.
