OTAGO DENTAL SCHOOL.
The number of attendances at the Otago Dental School now amounts to 4000 annually (says the Otago Daily Times). All these patients have to undergo some treatment, and by far the greater part of thework undertaken is in connection with tho saving of teeth by filling and othor methods, and a very small proportion is concerned with the extraction of teeth and supply of artificial dentures. The year's session at the school has just terminated, and there is now a vacation of two months. The additions that are being made to the present buildings are. expected to' be completed some time next session. A large operating room is provided for, and will make the present one twice its size and capable of ncoommpdating 30 operating chairs. Provision is also made for a scientific laboratory and a very appreciable extension of the present mechanical department.
