NEW WHARF AT KOPU.

- Thames, Wednesday. At last evening's meeting of the Thames Harbour. Board a lengthy report drawn up by the secretary was read on the question of the erection of a railway wharf at Kopu. The matter, both as regards cost and . ways and means, was fully dealt with, and it was shown that an up-to-date structure could be .erected at a cost of £13,000, which could be met by the levying of a special rate throughout the district interested. Consideration of the matter was postponed.
