ARBITRATION COURT.

; Palmerstov North, Tuesday. At a meeting of the executive of the Manawatu Employers' Association, held last night, it was resolved to nominate Mr. W. Scott, of Dunedin, to the vacant position in the Arbitration Court, vice Mr. S. Brown, deceased. The opinion was expressed that Mr. Scott was the best man that could be selected for the position. Sympathetic reference was made to the good. work done by Mr. Brown on behalf of the employers.C A vote of condolence was "S passed to Mrs. Brown and family. /
