RIOTOUS SUFFRAGETTES.
SCENES IN GLASGOW, A MEETING DISTURBED. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright, (Received August 22. 5.5 p.m.) London, August 21. A number of suffragettes and sympathisers caused riotous scenes outside St. Andrew's Hall, Glasgow, where the Earl of Crewe, Colonial Secretary and Leader of. the Liberal party in the House of Lords, was speaking. The Earl of Crewe, owing to the dense crowd, resorted to strategy at the close of the meeting to make his exit from the hall.
