The Star's correspondent advises that W the Oiira tunnel deadlock continues. .'Police reinforcements were sent up yesterday. They created an angry feeling i amongst the men, who, at a meeting held last night, decided to telegraph to the Minister for Justice requesting their • withdrawal. Eeefton, Saturday. The Inangahua Miners' Union endorsed . - the action of the Otira workmen, and, in consequence of Mr. McLean's refusal to r submit this and the question of walking : through the tunnel from work on Sunday morning and evening to the Conciliation Board, have appealed to the Labour agent it Greymouth to institute proceedings for /. llleged breach of award.
