London, August' 18. The death is announced of Sir Theodore Martin, author and Parliamentary agent in the passing of private Bills.
Sir Theodore Martin, who was 93 veals of age, practised as a solicitor in Edinburgh till 1845, when lie, removed to London, where he acted as a Parliamentary agent in the passing of private Bills till a few years ago. Ho was the author of some poems and ballads, that are fairly well known, and of several biographical works, including " Life of Lord Lyndhurst," "Life of Professor Aytoun," and li Queen Victoria as I Knew Her."
