THE THREE CARD TRICK.
[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] • Christchtjrch, Thursday. At the Supreme Court to-day Patrick Dalton and James Arthur were charged with conspiring to defraud > Henry Uru. The indictment alleged that the offence wao committed in a railway carriage travelling between Belfast and Christchurch on May 24, Uru being defrauded by the "three card trick." Dalton was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment. ■■ Arthur was ordered to stand down pending inquiries.
