Sir,—Through your columns we lean* " from the lessee of His Majesty's ; Theatre IS that " there are' abundance of emergency >'Jl| exits." There may be, but, every reasonable person will understand that., in the#:|| event of panic-, in a theatre,, the audience will immediately - rush for the exit they i are! fill familiar with, with the result unfortunately! -;» too well known. In some theatres in Eng-' _• $ land these emergency exits are opened atiiigi the conclusion •of occasional performances, so that the public may. become familiar f with their' location and to keep them -in '..few working order, and why not in Auckland? i - j 1 • \ Lotalti. .
