The sharemarket showed more buoyancy yesterday. In investment stocks New Zealand Insurances were dealt in at 75s;* more were inquired for at 755, but further sellers required 765. A parcel of South British Insurances changed hands at. 53s 3d, there being further buyers at 52s 6d, and sellers at 53s 9d. Northern Coals paid) sold, at 12s; Auckland Trams (ord.) at 20s 9d; and Wiseman and Sons, Ltd. (ord.) at lis 6d. In mining lines there were buyers of Waihis at £9 lis and sellers at £9 12s. Talismans, which closed with a sale at 57s on Tuesday, improved, selling at 57s 6d to 57s 3d to 57s 6d, there being further buyers at 57s and sellers at 57s 6d. Waihi Grand Junctions, consequent upon the posting of the record return, showed a rapid advance. As against 51s, the closing sale on Tuesday, they sold at from 51s fid to 55r to 549 3d to 55s to 54s 9d to 55s to 54s 6d, closing with buyers at 54s 6d and sellers at 54s 9d.
