NEVER DISLOYAL.
"FIGHTING CHARLIE" AND THE ADMIRALTY. By Telegraph.—Press Association—Copyright. (Received August 17, 11.10 p.m.) London, August 17. In a letter to the newspapers, Admiral Lord Charles Beresford says that the report of Mr. Asquith's subcommittee on the recent allegations made against the Admiralty is in the main a great satisfaction to himself, and some of the reforms he regards as essential are now in the Admiralty programme.
Lord Beresford strongly denies that he was ever guilty of disloyalty to Admiralty instructions, or that he failed to recognise its paramount authority.
