SCULLING.
WHELOH-DAY MATCH. [by TELEGRAPH.— association.] Foxton, Monday. The sum of £25 has been lodged with Mr. Hornblow, editor of the Manawatu Herald, Foxton, by Mr. S. Messena, as a deposit for J. Whelch, of Aksroa, to row G. Day, of New South Wales, for the championship of Now Zealand and £200 a.side, on the Manawatu River at Foxton.
