WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION.
WORK ON THE MARTHA LODE.

y - Waiht, Friday. ; After passing through a band of nicely mineralised ore .in ~ the north crosscut, through the Martha reef at No. 5 level ,in the Waihi Grand Junction mine, mullock was in evidence in one corner of the floor of the drive to-day. A further round of holes fired' late this afternoon disclosed country rock in the face, but whether this is the foot,wall country or a horse of mullock between the two sections of the ore body can only be determined with the advancement of the drive. ,
