CHEAP APRICOTS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DONEDIN, Thursday. Tremendous quantities of fruit from the Teviot district are now regularly coining to Dunedin, and much more is being placed on the market than there is demand for. It is reported that Teviot apricots have been sold at as low as Id per lb, and up to ljjd for choice. The consignments received this week have been quite phenomenal, and must have amounted to several thousand cases, and the same experience is reported in regard to the Invercargill market.
