Mulcahy secured throe of the championships (the ( 880 yds, the mile, and the threo mile), and he created such a favourable impression that it is said a number of his supporters will ( offer to send him to compete in the Auck- £ land Marathon race. Following arc- the results of the championship events:— ' 880 Yds. Championship.— Mulcahy 1- I H. W. Thompson, 2. Time, 2m. 10 i-ss. T Won easily. I IOOYds. Championship.— B. Goodbehere, r 1; W. A. Woodger, 2. Time lis. A fairly close finish. Four starters. I High Jump Championship.— Evenson (sft 4m), 1; L. McKay and J. MeNamara C (sft 2in), 2. 120 Yds Hurdles Championship. Evenson, 1; L. McKay, 2. Time 18s. Won all C the way. 220 Yds Championship.— W. A. Woodger, c 1; B. Goodbehere, 2; J. Wilton, 3. Time 245. Goodbehere was leading at first, but Woodger came away and won rather easily, r One Mile Championship.—M. Mulcahy 1W. Harvey, 2. Time 4m. 57*. Long Jump Championship.— H.
