ACCIDENTS AT GISBORNE.

GISBOBNE, Monday. When Mr. T. Charters was cycling towards the post office on Saturday a motor car came round the corner from Customhousestreet,, and he was caught between the car and a cart, which was standing on the -x>ad. Mr. Charters was knocked down and dragged for a short distance. He was medically attended and subsequently removed to his residence.

A party, comprising Mr. and Mrs. Alic Caulton and child, also another lady and child, and the driver, were proceeding in Mr. Caulton's buggy to Ormond, when they met a motor car.' The horse turned sharply around, and the back wheels of ".he vehicle went over tho bank. The animal tried to. pull the buggy hack, but in doing so the trace broke, and the veniclo was upset, throwing the occupants down the hill. Fortunately, none of the party were seriously injured.
