FROZEN MEAT INDUSTRY.
"' EAST COAST WORKS BUSY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] • ' Gisborne, Saturday. A large amount of stock for freezing purposes is offering at the present time, and both the local works are going at high pressure. The Gisborne sheep-farmers' frozen meat works, this week handled an average of 2000. sheep per day. The season is exceptionally forward, and the prospects point to a record freezing season.
