London, December 4. ; In the House of Lords, Lord Errpl and Viscount ; Midleton (who was Secretary of State for War from 1900 to 1903), challenged the statement of Mr. R. B. Haldane (Secretary of State for War) that the British Army was now 90,000 stronger than in 1905.
Lord Lucas (Under-Secretary to the War Office) quoted figures to justify Mr. Haldane's statement.
