CHRISTCHURCH COLLECTIONS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] CHRiSTcnuRCH, Saturday. The annual collections in aid of the St. John Ambulance Association were taken up in the city to-day by lady collector, who numbered 150. The Hon. Geo. Fowlds (Minister for Health) telegraphed to the association that the Government would subsidise the. collections £ for £ up to £200. The amount collected totalled £218, with some small amounts to come. '
