A RIVER MYSTERY.
[by xeleouaph.*—press association.] amaru, Wednesday. A dnu man, about 20 years of age, unknown in the district, was found hanging in the willows in the Waitaki River bed this morning. Near to where the body was discovered a suit of clothes was found, with the name W. Hale" on the shirt collar. The man had apparently been dead for a wek.
