There continues to be some mild specula tiort amongst members as to the filling of the vacancy in the Cabinet, which will ho created should the Hon. W. Hall-Jones oe appointed High Commissioner. In addition to the names already mentioned in a previous message, that of Mr. Baume has been suggested as a possible Auckland representative. ; Mr. Hornsby has also been mentioned among other North Island members. ; ** Amongst South Island members Messrs.
