CHARGE OF BURGLARY.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRTOPONDBNT.] GtsfloJtNß, Wednesday. At the Police Court this morning Patrick Morris, alias McCluskey, alias CroniH, on remand, was charged with breaking and entering the premises"- of Wm. Joseph Hennessy, on or about September 11, and stealing a silver watch, three medals, four pairs of boots, 10 pairs of shoes, and a safe, of the total value of £25. Accused reserved his defence, and pleaded Rot guilty. He was committed for trial at the next sittings of the Supreme Court to be held at Gisbornc, bail being allowed, accused in £100, and two sureties of £50 each, or one in £100.
