"WALLABIES" ON TOUR. DEVON DEFEATED. r By Telegraph.Press Association:— (Received September 28, 1 a.m.) '• London, September 27. The " Wallabies" (the nickname adopted by the Australian amateur Rugby team, which has begun a tour of England and Wales), were victorious in their match with Devon yesterday, scoring three goals and three tries to Devon's one try. The game was played in the presence of about 14,000 spectators. The ground was rather soft. At the end of the first half the "Wallabies" got three tries in eight minutes. Burge had the misfortune to break his leg.
