PBOPOSED VISIT OF A WARSHIP. < {BY TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] . Wellington, Wednesday. The Minister in charge of the Cook Islands (the Hon. "McGowan) states thatan application has been made by the Go-vei-nmeht for the use of one of the vessels of the Australasian squadron, .'■ when available, for the purpose of (visiting the islands of the Cook Group, in which trouble has lately , arisen through the action of some of the natives. It is proposed that the Commissioner should proceed in the vessel to the islands, where the unrest has prevailed, and arrest the natives .who have been guilty of illegal conduct. * •
