AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. ' ■ The special meeting of the A..R.C. Committee, convened for . last night ;to consider the recommendations- of the sub-committee in regard to. the programmes for the present season's racing, stands adjourned until Monday evening. "■. •* SOUTH AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. The annual meeting of the South Auckland' Racing Club was held at Hamilton on Tuesday, Mr. J. Coatee presiding. The committee in their report congratulated members on the success which had attended the two days' meeting, held on March 27 and 28. The totalisator showed a fair turnover, to which £190, paid in fees by bookmakers, had to be added. This gave a total of £5200 for the two days, as against £3400 for one day last year,- when no bookmakers were present. Trie. licensed victuallers of the district had donated £30. The committee was able' to pay off £73, the balance of the grandstand loan. The report and balance-sheet were adopted/and the following ./committee- was elected; —Messrs.
