NO-LICENSE CAMPAIGN.
The Rev. Leonard Isitt delivered his second temperance-lecture in the ; Tabernacle last evening. He said the fight, was not between the no-license party and the people. The whole of the fight was beingput up by the liquor sellers. The literature distributed was paid for by the trade and he would defy his hearers to give a case in any town or city where, unschooled by liquor monopolists, the people were waking any struggle again*!- ' no-license, Alcohol was not a necessity, but a mere luxury, and a luxury that caused the community more wretchedness than it occasioned pleasure.
