ST. ANDRE SALE OF WORK.
A sale of work was opened in St. Andrew's Hall, Lower Symonds-street, yesterday afternoon, the object being .to raise funds for the extinction of the debt: on the building. The numerous and pretty-decorated stalls testified to the enthusiasm with which the promoters had entered into the scheme, and it was gratifying to note that their efforts were rewarded by a ready sale of
goods. The names of the stalls and stallholders are as follows:—Fancy stall, Mesdames Murray, McDonald, Heath, Eraser,; and Oliphanr, and Misses Richmond, Winks, and Runciman; doll stall, Mrs. Lindsay and Misses Chapman, Bagnall, Lindsay, and Culpan; plain stall, Mesdames Murray,.Holland, Davy, Crombie; produce, Mesdames Wick, Frater, and Reid; sweets, Misses L. Winks, Davey, Holland, Frater (2),- and McLeod; refreshments, Mrs. Jones and Misses Elliott, Hellaby, Runciman, Kirkwood, Davis, Bradshaw, Gilbert, Kempthorne, Sellars, Webbe, Mackloiv, and MoKenzie; fish pond, Misses E. Runeiman,'' Oliphant, and S. Johnston. The side übotrs were in charge of Messrs. Campbell and Wood. In the evening a musical programme was submitted. The sale will be continued to-day
