GIGANTIC STEEL TRUST.
CAPITAL OF 150 MILLIONS. AMERICA, GERMANY, AND RUSSIA. WORKS IN UNITED KINGDOM. By Telegraph.—Prsu Association.— (Received June 21. 4.43 pni.S London, June 20. The Iron and Steel Trades Journal states that an international steel trust has been formed, with a capital of £150,000,000. American, German, and Russian syndicates are co-operating, and it is expected that great works will be started in the United Kingdom. For magnitude the new eteel trust promises to rank with the great Standard Oil Trust. In almost every department of commerce in America, a trust has been formed—in flour, tobacco, oil, iron, etc. f their ramifications extending over vast area*. In regard to the Steel Trust, a recent cable ttated the American Stee! Trust had obtained a controlling interest in the Tennessee Coal, Iron, and Railroad Company, securing four millions (sterling worth of stock at an outlay of £3,400,000.
