STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
[BY TELEGRAPH —press association.] Westport, Saturday. The Church of England building at Waimangaroa was struck by lightning during a storm. The roof of the belfry was torn, the iron cross twisted, and the column holding it shattered. ' The bell rope fell, and .several windows were broken. ;\ '
