TE PUIA SPRINGS.
[by telegraph.own correspondent,] Gisborne, Sunday. Mr F. Moorhousb, of the Tourist Department, has returned from a visit of inspection to the Te Puia Springs. The Department, which recently took over the springs, contemplates extensive improvements to the accommodation house. Mr. Moorhonse expresses surprise at the number who have visited the springs, and even at this time of the year ; there are a number staying at the resort availing themselves of the baths. Several who have tried them speak in high terms of their curative properties.
