ALLEGED THEFT OF MONEY.
[ii: -M oca (IK'S CORKESI'OXIJENT.] Hamilton, Thursday. At the Police Court yesterday Thomas Chamberlain Davis, book-keeper to Messrs. Chilcott and Hume, was charged with stealing the sum ot 4« Td from his employers. A remand 'till the 10th : n*t. was granted, on the application of the police.' Bail was allowed, the accused in one surety of £75, and two other sureties of a like amount. The police intimated that a number of other charges were pending".
