A meeting of the executive officers of the trades unions was held to-night to consider the. political situation, and the following resolution was carried, -'"That it is desirable that the workers of Dunedin should be properly represented in Parliament, and that the best means to attain that end is by the unions affiliating with the Political Labour League." The representatives of the unions present pledged themselves to do their best to induce the unions to * affiliate with the, league. .
