PERRY'S BIORAMA. ~ This evening at His Majesty's Theatre a. short, season of six nights will be commenced by Perry's Biorama Company, consisting- of a series of highly-interesting- and amusing moving pictures. The Urban projecting machine will be used, and all the latest appliances for an effective display. During the evening illustrated ballads byMiss Eva Brady will be rendered, rag-time melodies by Mr. Harry Collins, and juggling and acrobatic feats by the Four Academy Boys. The season is limited to six nights. V. JULIUS ' KNIGHT SEASON. „ The Julius Knight Company brought a phenomenally-successful season to a. close at His Majesty's Theatre last evening with a record production of the popular. Napoleonic play, " A Royal Divorce." As was anticipated, the theatre was again packed to the doors, and hundreds had to be turned away. The piece went with a swing from start, to finish, and was greatly appreciated by the audience, who bestowed unstinted applause at frequent intervals . throughout the. evening/ The performance' was witnessed by Their Excellencies, Lord and Lady Plunket, and party. 't" CINDERELLA" PANTOMIME. At His Majesty's Theatre next Saturday Messrs. Anderson, and Sheridan will produce on an elaborate scale the pantomime ." Cinderella," which had a run of six weeks at the Palace Theatre, Sydney, and has just concluded a very successful season at the Opera House, Wellington, the company including 103 performers. The Wellington' press speak well of the all-round excellence of the production, the : Porcelain March coming in for special praise. Mr. John F. Sheridan appears as the " Baroness," and Miss Heba Barlow as "Cinderella." The ballets, choruses, and scenery are a special feature in the production, and in the "harlequinade" Messrs. Morris and Wilson, the well-known acrobats, appear. The box plan will ha opened at Wildman's on. Tuesday next, at 10 a.m. "IMPERIAL PICTURES." The " Imperial Pictures " to be exhibited in the Royal Albert Hall next Saturday will include pictures of novel, art, comedy, opera, and fantasy. It is claimed that the exhibition will be quite equal to anything yet seen in the Dominion in size, brilliant definition, and general excellence. The season open 3 with, a matinee in the afternoon, and will be continued every evening. AUCKLAND BACH SOCIETY. The Auckland Bach- Society will hold a concert in St. Andrew's Hall on the 19th inst., under the patronage of Lord and Lady Plunket. An excellent programme has been arranged, consisting of very choice selections of i part songs, glees, ballets, and solos. " „ . f MARIST BROTHERS' OLD BOYS' SOCIAL. The Marist Brothers' Old Boys' Club held a successful social in the Royal Albert Hall last evening, when about 150 couples attended. The building was decorated with greenery, and the floor was in first-class order. In the early portion of the evening progressive euchre was played, but subsequently dancing was indulged in.
