THE PRICE OF BUTTER.
DECLINE IN WELLINGTON. [by TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. There was a drop of Id per lb in the retail price of butter this morning, and the ruling rate is now Is 3d. Supplies have kept up well, and factories in Manawatu, Wairarapa, and Taranaki are generally making more butter now than was the "case at the end of February.
