CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
SEQUEL TO A MOTOR ACCIDENT. [by TELEGRAPH. 7-PRESS association.] GhrCstchurch, Wednesday. William Diamond, medical practitioner, who was concerned in the motor car accident at Addington on the. night of February 22, when Sydney Raymond Merritt received fatal injuries, was charged before Mr. V. G. Day, S.M., at the Police Court this afternoon, with causing the death of Merritt by his negligent and improper driving, and thereby committing the crime of manslaughter. The accused was committed for trial, bail in £250 being allowed.
