PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL.
NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY MESSENGER'S GREAT GOALKICKING. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. Sydney, April 14. The Rugby League tendered the New Zealand professional footballers a reception in the Town Hall last night. The captain, replying for the visitors, said they had learned many lessons during the tour. One was that the old amateur Rugby game was not the only game in the world. He was sure the public would flock to see the new league game. Further,' the captain said he did not think there was a player in England who could kick goals like Messenger.
