TRADE WITH ENGLAND.
EDUCTION IN FREIGHT. [BY TBr.KOUAPB.—-I'BBSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. I It ig announced by the four steamship companies, viz., the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company, the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Tyser Lino, and the New Zealand and African Company, which trade between New Zealand and England, that a reduction will be made in the freight to England. The alteration dates from to-day, and is to hold good until September 30 next. The reductions are as follows: Wool and skins, |d per lb: hemp and* tow, 10s per ton weight; and tallow and pelts, 5s per ton weight.
