TOM MANN TO RETURN.
A FIGHTING PLATFORM.

Wellington*, Sunday. Mr. Tom Mann, the well-known Labour leader, will arrive from Sydney on Wednesday to attend the congress of the New Zealand Socialist party, to be. held in Wellington during Easter week. He will be received' by members of the party. A reception of delegates will take place at the Socialists' hall on Saturday evening next. There are expected to be over 50 delegates to the congress, representing the various parts of the Dominion. On Easter Sunday Mr. Mann will address a mass meeting in the Opera. House, and the congress will meet on the following day. At the close of the congress Mr. Mann will begin a propaganda of the Dominion on behalf of the Socialist party. A fighting platform will be drafted by the congress to consolidate the party's action during the forthcoming general election. It is also intended to elect a paid organiser at a salary of £5 a week to work in the Wellington district.
