TERRIBLE ACCIDENT.
FATALITY AT NAPIER. A SHAG-SHOOTING EXCURSION. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION".] Napier, Sunday. A fatal gun accident occurred on Watchman Island, in the inner harbour, at about five o'clock this afternoon, resulting in the instantaneous death of Frank Oulton, aged about 26, and a coach-painter by occupation. Oulton was one of a party who were shooting shags, and while he was descending a steep, rocky side of the island with the aid of a wire rope fixed there his gun went off, and the upper part of his head was blown away.
