THE GOVERNOR.
Our Wellington correspondent states that, the terms of an agreement to a two years' lease by His Excellency the Governor of Mr. Strang's house at Palmerston North were signed by Mr. Strang on Friday lait, and by Lord Plunktt on Saturday. A residence and 31 acres of grounds are included in the lease. The additions to the house, necessary for the accommodation of His , Excellency's staff, will he commenced forthwith.
