— — MACMAHON'S PICTURES. After a most successful season MacMahon < Pictures were shown for the last time on Saturday evening, and the company reproduced the series of pictures, "Robbery Under Arms," and they were received with much enthusiasm. OPERA HOUSE. The change of programme at the Opera House oil Saturday night was quite in keeping with the standard already established by the Fuller management, and was duly appreciated by an overflowing audience, which demanded encore after encore. In the first part Mr. James Opie and the "Three Harmonious Huxhams ' made their first appearance. Mr. Opie is a baritone and character vocalist of no mean order, and at once established himself as a warm favourite. A similar reception was accorded to the Huxhams, who rendered several part songs in charming style. Later on in the evening Miss La 1 •vinia Tvson, a gifted contralto vocalist, also made her debut in Auckland. She rendered several solos, for which she was heartily applauded. The Marlow Sisters (charming serios), Vando arid Varna (comedians and patter artists),' Miss Brightie Smith (comedienne), and Dennis Carney (comedian) all appeared in fresh "turns." .Bonita, champion girl rifle shot, gave another exhibition of her markmanship, creating much enthusiasm. The Reggiardos, jugglers and swordswallowers, repeated their performance, and again succeeded in astonishing the audience. A series of fresh animated pictures contributed to the evening's enjoyment. The same programme will be repeated each evening throughout the week.

GOOD FRIDAY ENTERTAINMENT. Messrs. MacMahon are preparing for Good Friday evening at His Majesty's Theatre a special grand national entertainment. This will comprise an exceptionally attractive musical programme, together with another new series of their highly popular and up-to-date living picture wonders.
